Their Wedding Story
September 27, 2025 was one of those Florida wedding days filled with emotion, color, and cinematic moments you don’t forget. Yenci & Greis chose the historic Sample-McDougald House in Pompano Beach for their full 10-hour wedding, and it was the perfect blend of soft romance, old-world charm, and modern editorial elegance.
Set on a historic property full of character and weathered beauty, their wedding day felt warm, intentional, and rooted in everything that makes South Florida love stories so special. If you love this style, you can explore more of my South Florida wedding packages here.
From the quiet first look with her mom to the emotional reveal with her sisters and bridesmaids, Yenci’s morning was full of heartfelt moments. Her bridesmaids’ reactions, the tears, the laughter every part of it felt like a soft start to the luxury evening ahead.
Their color palette of pink, gold, and green tied beautifully into the vintage details of the estate. I photographed her hanging dress against the historic woodwork of the home, along with rings, shoes, perfume, and all the little details that completed her editorial bridal look.
The ceremony included a live violinist, adding a touch of elegance that set the tone for the rest of the night. As the sun dipped behind the mossy trees, we captured soft, romantic sunset portraits across the lawn golden light, tender moments, and the cinematic glow that Sample-McDougald is known for.
The reception? Nothing short of electric. Dance photos, genuine laughs, unfiltered joy the kind of energy only a wedding surrounded by all your favorite people can bring.
I also captured parts of their day on Super 8 film, and I can’t wait to share those nostalgic, documentary-style clips when the film comes back from development.
